Power filter mainly  we used power filter for mechanical and biological filtration because in this filter we can add  some amount of filter media also it doesn't create any noise which we wants, it's looks very ugly because the whole filter we have to put inside our tank so I recommend you if you don't have any budget problem try to skip this filter also.
