Sponge filter mainly we used for those we are fish breeder or some of we like to have shrimp, only those person can use these sponge filter others please try to avoid this filter because this filter doesn't have much filter media also it creates some noise which we don't want, it's looks very ugly because it's looks so big and we have to put this filter inside our tank so think about it if a big sponge inside your tank is it looks good!
